2025 DEREGISTRATION OF NON-COMPLIANT AND DORMANT ENTITIES

The Companies Act No. 10 of 2017 and the Registration of Business Names Act No. 16 of 2011 provide the legal framework for the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date registers of companies and business names in Zambia.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 31st December 2025, the Registrar of Companies and the Registrar of Business Names, pursuant to Section 317 of the Companies Act and Section 16 of the Registration of Business Names Act respectively, removed from the registers entities that were non-compliant and dormant or defunct for a period of fifteen (15) years and beyond.

The Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) wishes to inform the public and stakeholders that the full list of deregistered companies and cancelled business names is available as a downloadable document below.
